At the
"Celebrate Families" Day, RPSS officers man a booth promoting boating education and safety.
They place special emphasis on the new boating law in Virginia requiring
children age 13 and under to wear life jackets while onboard a boat. Two
life jackets are raffled off. The public signs up to take the
Public Safe Boating course that begins in March.
