IMMIGRATION: Arrived in Philadelphia 29 Sep 1741 was 40 years old and son Nicholas Paul was 12 years old. May be poor info or confusion with Nicholas. Immigration list does show several Jacob Paulus arriving in Philadelphia in 1741.

He was a member of the Fairfax Committee of Safety, 1774-6, George Washington, Chairman. He was a vestryman of Truro Parish, 1763.
