SOURCE: This family group came from letter to Katherine Green from Francis E. Kercheral, born 1817. KSG notes show Mose's father may be Charles Green, born 1723 and mother may be Elizabeth McNish. Also Jane A. Paul notes have Moses born ca. 1758 near Paris, Fauquier Co. DAR reference used for birth & death. Grace Parrish Mercer stated on her DAR application #448939 that "Green Family Bible records were in possesion of Mrs. Samuel Tuskin Weir of Manassas Va. in 1945.
NOTE: This is the end of the line that I can document, but he is supposed to be descended from Moses Green who was married to Mary Blackwell, who was the son of Robert Green and Eleanor Dunn and is documented in "The Descendents of Hugh Brent". This book also states that Judge John Paul said that Charles Green was a descendent of this Moses. Dates don't appear to tie either....The other Moses family is in this database with a similar note, RIN #380. Seymour Paul, 1989. - A John Peede lived in Barbadoes in 1679.
- Rev. Duell Pead or Peede was rector of Christ Church, Middlesex Co. from 1683 to 1690. Returned to England (Church register).
