John Abbott was married three times, 1st Abigale died 6 months after
marriage. 2nd wife was Sarah Jones and 3rd wife was Mary Hanks
(McCool). McCool was her 1st husband.Hanks is related to Abe Lincolns mother?
John Abbott lived at West Branch, Ohio until 1854 when he moved to
La Grange, Iowa where he bought a farm.John Abbott joined the Quakers after he came to Ohio.
NOTES: Died within six months of Samuel's birth. Death about Aug 1817... !SOURCE: Quaker records at Guilford College, Greensboro, N.C. state that Sarah died 22 Jun 1819 and buried at West Branch.
